Meet Annie
Occuapational Therapist
I’m an occupational therapist with a background in psychology and theatre, and I’ve spent my career at The Retreat by Sheppard Pratt, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. I take a neuro-affirming approach and identify as someone with ADHD, which shapes how I understand and support the many ways brains work.
I support people using a holistic approach that considers all aspects of their lives, including daily routines, time management, executive function skills, sensory and emotional regulation, and interoceptive awareness. My goal is to help you feel more capable, confident, and connected, creating routines and strategies that genuinely fit who you are and how you want to live.

How can Occupational Therapy Help?
Occupational therapy helps people build the skills, habits, and routines they need to live meaningful, balanced lives. In mental health, that means supporting you in the daily activities that make up your wellbeing — from managing emotions and stress, to creating structure, connecting with others, and finding purpose in everyday life.
Occupational therapy can help you:
-
Build healthy daily routines and structure
-
Improve focus, organization, and follow-through
-
Manage anxiety, stress, and sensory overload
-
Strengthen emotional regulation and coping skills
-
Reconnect with meaningful activities and relationships
-
Restore balance between self-care, work, and rest
Our goal is to help you feel grounded, capable, and confident in your everyday life — not just to cope, but to truly engage and thrive.
